Instead of putting the customer’s names, the employee drew “chinky eyes”. When confronted, the store manager apologized and gave the customers….a gift card.

i’m not sure if the racism towards asians is getting more blatant, asians are getting more vocal about racism that was always there (helped by social media), i’m just getting more tapped into asian networks that publicize this stuff than i was before, or all of the above… but i’ve been seeing an alarming increase in these kinds of stories lately - with the extreme end being the danny chen case.

didnt read but honestly if the guy was busy i don’t see why putting this down would hurt anyone. it could have just been a way to save time if they were the only asians in the room. its a stereotype and you’ve all cracked jokes about it before. should i get offended every time some one says “eh” or asks me about maple syrup? No because i’m not a stupid autistic fuck who can’t give someone the benefit of the doubt.
